El pico del Veleta (3.396 m.s.n.m.) es una de las cumbres de mayor
reclamo en cuanto a senderistas y curiosos por culminar uno de los
colosos más elevados de España (probablemente por su mejor accesibilidad
a través de una carretera considerada como la más alta de Europa). La
ruta parte desde Pradollano, y se puede hacer en coche hasta la Hoya de
la Mora. A partir de ahí se corta el tráfico de vehículos a motor, por
lo que se deberá continuar a pie.

Veleta peak (3.396 over sea level) is one of the most Sierra Nevada's
alluring summits as for the great interest from hikers and visitors to
reach one of the Spanish highest colossus (perhaps owing to its better
accessibility throughout a road considered as the highest in Europe).
The route sets off from Pradollano Ski Resort, and it is possible to
drive in up to a small plateau called "Hoya de la Mora". Starting from
there, motor vehicles are not allowed, so you must go on foot.
